Connecting your Ideal Heating devices to equiwatt lets you participate in powerDOWN events automatically.

Please note: You will need to have a smart meter that is sending half-hourly readings connected to your equiwatt account before you can connect your Ideal Heating devices to equiwatt.



Step 1: Connect your Ideal Heating account

Open the ‘Manage’ tab of the equiwatt app and select ‘Add other integrations’. Then select ‘Heating/Cooling’.

Step 2: Log in to your Ideal Heating account

You must then sign in using your Ideal Heating credentials. This is the email address and password you use to sign in to your Ideal Heating app.

Step 3: Successful linking

If your Ideal Heating account has been successfully linked then the app should now display your device.
