Continuing smart meter set-up.

If you need to re-add your smart meter or have skipped that part of the setup, you can connect it via the ‘Connect a Smart Meter’ button on the home page of the app.

Smart meter hasn’t been added yet:

1) If you have not yet added your smart meter to your equiwatt account, you will see the following ‘Connect a Smart Meter’ prompt on the ‘Home’ tab of the app.

2) Simply select the ‘connect a smart meter’ button and follow the on screen instructions to get your smart meter connected to the equiwatt app.

3) Additionally, on the ‘Manage’ tab of the app, you will encounter the ‘Tap to connect your smart meter’ prompt, which also displays the current status of your meter.

4) Next, tap on the ‘Smart Meter’ widget and follow the prompts that appear on your screen to successfully connect your smart meter to the equiwatt app.

MPAN has been added but the smart meter is not connected:

1) If you have added your MPAN to your equiwatt account but did not complete the address verification process then, you will see the following ‘Tap to verify your smart meter’ prompt on the ‘Manage’ tab of the app.

2) To verify your smart meter’s address, select the ‘Tap to verify you smart meter’ widget.

3) Select the ‘Complete verification’ button and follow the on screen instructions to get your smart meter connected to the equiwatt app.
