Is there a fee to join equiwatt?

It is free to download the equiwatt app and there are no ongoing membership fees.

Joining the equiwatt community is free and we’ll keep it that way to help build the biggest possible community of energy savers.

There is also no equipment that you need to install in your home either. However, it is required to connect your smart meter to equiwatt so that you can earn points every time you reduce your energy usage during one of our powerDOWN events.
